Though the Cuyahoga River in Cleveland may not be an idyllic a spot for rowing, it will play host to the inaugural USRowing Masters Head Race National Championship in September of 2012. Karen Schaeffer reports from Cleveland. Additionally, tomorrow morning at 7 am, tune your radio to WCPN 90.3 FM’s broadcast of Only a Game. The masters rowing team had a good day in Pittsburgh despite the crummy weather during Saturday’s Head of the Ohio Regatta. 6 gold, 6 silver, and 2 bronze medals were won by WRRA rowers who braved the cold temps and rain.
