Mission of WRRA: Western Reserve Rowing Association provides and promotes adult competitive and recreational rowing for the Northeast Ohio community through quality programming.
Primary Purpose of Committee: To facilitate a unified community among all members of WRRA through communication, modeling inclusiveness, and organizing intra-club social events and activities.
Scope – Responsible for:
1. Actively modeling and fostering inclusive behavior among WRRA members;
2. Communicating with other committees and club membership;
2. Identifying opportunities for events and activities that foster club unity; and
4. Planning, marketing and hosting events and activities that foster club unity.
Goals – For 2011:
1. Foster unity among participants in all WRRA programs;
2. Improve the quality of the WRRA membership experience and member retention; and
3. Enhance existing programs and develop new events that help to unify WRRA programs.
Authority – Specifically authorized to:
1. Communication and solicit ideas for and involvement in more unified WRRA programs;
2. Recommend programming & events to the board that support club unity; and
3. Design and execute unifying activities with the backing of the board.
